We have never and will never use vitamin E acetate (or any kind of vitamin E) in any of our formulations.

As you probably know, a number of people have become ill or died recently as a result of vitamin E acetate. We’ve been monitoring the situation closely. A number of our customers have reached out to through our site, email, and other platforms with questions about vitamin E and whether we use it in our products.

Rest assured: We have never and will never use vitamin E acetate (or any kind of vitamin E) in any of our formulations.

What is vitamin E acetate?

It’s a chemical used as a thickening agent in some products. Sellers use it to bind other substances together. They also use it to make their products appear more premium.

Why don’t we use vitamin E acetate?

For one, it’s unhealthy. We’ve known this for some time. For another, vitamin E makes products thicker, but we’re in the business of making your concentrates, extracts, and distillates thinner. It wouldn’t make sense for us to put vitamin E in any of our products.

At East Coast Terpenes, we belive in using high quality ingredients in our products. We stick to food-grade, FDA-approved substances. We’re committed to offering safe and healthy products you can feel comfortable using.

Thank you for your continued business and trust. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
